Interview with Resource Teacher

Here is the interview I had with my focus student's RTI teacher. She is the only other teacher that sees my focus student during the day and has gotten to know her pretty well. She gave me great areas of improvement to work on with my focus student. I was aware of her difficulty with reading and phonics, but I like how she was specific in targeting her need to improve on long and short vowel sounds. I will take this into consideration when I am planning my strategies to improve her reading and writing. I also still could benefit from data about her progress from the beginning of the year to now. This interview helped a lot with my action plan and I think it directly relates to my focus student's problems in spelling, which causes her to have difficulty with reading and writing.
